EN / BLACK PAPER PLANE is an alternative rock band that draws influences from pop, post-rock and stoner. Formed in 2017, the group quickly released their first EP, and have since played numerous live dates. Their single, “Home,” released in December 2021, received widespread media and radio airplay. The new single “Black Box” released in September 2023 has more than 40,000 plays on Spotify for its first quarter of distribution. From the Dark and Beyond, new EP released in April 2024, marks a turning point in the group’s musical style!
While the world was moving away from the disaster movie scenario that we know all too well, the group underwent a lot of changes and was able to reinvent itself. The transformation of part of the line up brought about the natural evolution of the artistic project. The heavier guitar riffs and new influences then bring a breath of freshness and power reinforcing the dark and melancholy lyrics specific to BLACK PAPER PLANE.

Alors que le monde était en train de sortir du scénario digne d’un film catastrophe que nous ne connaissons que trop bien, le groupe a connu pas mal de changements et a su se réinventer. La transformation d’une partie du line up a amené l’évolution naturelle du projet artistique. Terwijl de wereld uit het rampenfilmscenario tevoorschijn kwam dat we maar al te goed kennen, onderging de groep veel veranderingen en kon ze zichzelf opnieuw uitvinden.
